Ali Nasr is a Sudanese singer, composer and songwriter from Al-Arda, Omdurman. He grew up in a home filled with melodies, words and musical heritage. His work carries that belonging forward, making room for reflection, energy and the freedom to explore.

Before the stage, there was a home filled with melodies, lyrics and artistic heritage. Growing up in Al-Arda, Omdurman, Ali’s relationship with music began as part of everyday life.

A singer, composer and songwriter, Ali makes space for emotional depth and contemporary energy. In his own description of artistic freedom, the range extends from rock to Sudanese zanig. His ambition is to bring Sudanese artistry to wider audiences while remaining connected to its roots.

Collaboration is part of that world. His work with Esaam Satti sits alongside recordings with Morwan Shady and Binyam Yemane. Each release has its own meeting of voices, and its own credits.
